In the afternoon of November 18, 2022, APRSAF-28 co-hosted by Vietnam National Space Center (VNSC) under Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST) and Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan (MEXT), Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) was officially closed after four productive days with a variety of activities.
Some key information of APRSAF-28 in Hanoi, Vietnam are:
– Number of registered delegates: more than 420 participants from 35 countries and territories.
– Number of national reports and international organizations: 18 national reports and 04 international organizations;

– 2022 APRSAF Space Achievement Award goes to Dr. M.Rokhis Khomarudin, Dr. Rizatus Shofiyati and Dr. Sobue Shinichi.

– The APRSAF-28 poster contest “Save Our Home the Earth” for children from 8-11 years old were awarded to contestants from Indonesia (best poster award), Korea and Indonesia (special poster award), Vietnam (VNSC award), Sri Lanka (JAXA award).
– The water rocket competition prize was awarded to Muhammad Shamir Izwan Mohd Shahir from Malaysia (first prize), Sawa Ishiodori from Japan and Chanaphat Phonphun from Thailand (joint second prize).
The APRSAF-28 in Hanoi was successfully held, international friends continues to appreciate and express their impression on Vietnam’s organization of APRSAF. APRSAF-29 and APRSAF-30 will be held in 2023 and 2024 in Indonesia and Australia respectively.
